Sausage Rice Casserole

Recipe: Sausage-Rice Casserole


  • 1 pound sausage
  • 6 oz long grain wild rice
  • 4 oz mushroom pieces
  • 2 small chopped onions
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 T butter


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cook rice according to package directions.
  2. In a heavy skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until thoroughly done, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Drain and combine all ingredients except butter and pour into casserole dish. Dot top with butter. Bake until bubbly, about 25 minutes.
